Yet another busy week in Oak Class!

In Literacy, we have looked at another rainforest (Madagascar) and how the lemurs are endangered in their natural habitat – we even listened to the never-ending sounds of the rainforest to imagine what it would be like waking up in our hammocks to encounter these rare creatures!  This stimulated some lovely descriptive writing and we drew the lemurs spotted up in the canopy.

This week in Maths we recognised that finding a quantity or an amount meant the same thing and that in order to find a fraction of an amount, knowing our multiplication and division facts would definitely help us!

At the end of the week we performed our class assembly.  Thank you to everyone who came to watch us perform.  Our posters are now on display in the classroom and are an aid to remind us how we can continue to be confident learners.

Have a great weekend,

Miss B and Miss P
