Dear Parents and Friends

Hopefully I will see many of you tonight at Chagford Late Night Shopping where the Choir and Band will be performing again this year. The children have been busy preparing and the songs are sounding lovely. Next week we have our Christmas lunch on Thursday which you will need to opt your child out of if they do not want the Christmas dinner. It is also the Christmas Fair in the school hall on Friday 14th December. Thank you all for your generous contributions to the fair in exchange for non-uniform today; we have plenty of lovely items for the tombola stall!

This Thursday Beech Class performed the Christmas Story as their Collective Worship and it was fantastic to hear their loud and clear voices in front of such a large audience. The performance was created by the children themselves and was thoroughly enjoyed by all the many parents and grandparents who came to watch. Thank you to all the children for working so hard to retell the wonderful story.

Have a great weekend.

Liz Wiseman

Important information:

As part of the Dartmoor Multi Academy Trust all payments must be made in advance.

As you may be aware school budgets are increasingly tight and we have a finance policy of all payments to be paid in advance for clubs, trips, FSU nursery sessions and the school dinners we provide. We still have outstanding balances on accounts and cannot allow this level of debt to continue, so we are asking for parents to check their school gateway account and make payment of any outstanding monies or to come and talk to us if you are having trouble making payments.

Any unpaid accounts will receive a letter and an invoice and all provisions will be stopped until your account is cleared, this may mean you will have to provide a packed lunch or arrange alternative care after school/breakfast time or even cancel school trips if we cannot cover the full cost. Nursery sessions will be reduced to only funded session. Any outstanding debts will be referred to the Dartmoor Multi Academy finance team for debt recovery.

Please help us to maintain a high level of service by ensuring your account is not in arrears.
