News from Sarah Small – Music lessons in Ukulele Flute Clarinet Recorder Saxophone and Oboe. In order to develop the skills required your child will need your support to practice several times a week – usually just for a few minutes each time. Pupils will receive 30 lessons in each academic year. Some terms are longer or shorter so may have more or less lessons. Lessons cost £90 per 10 week block- £9 per 20 minute individual lesson or £135 / £13.50 for a 30 min individual lesson. Fees are payable at the beginning of each term. Please pay the invoice by Bacs. If you prefer to pay by cheque please add £1-50 to the invoice to cover bank charges. If the tutor misses any lessons they will be rescheduled. Lessons missed due to the pupil being absent cannot usually be rescheduled. If the school gives sufficient notice – 2 weeks minimum – to cancel a visit the lessons can be rescheduled. Pupils will need to provide a note book for their practice notes and as communication with the parents. They will need to bring it every week with their music and instruments. It’s important for parents to check their child’s notebook so that they can support them in their practice. If a parent wishes to withdraw from future lessons a term’s notice in writing is required to Sarah Small Stone Gable Brushford Exeter EX187SJ.
