Sunshine! Hurray!

The Grasshoppers have enjoyed a very busy four day week! We have been completing assessments for maths and reading as well as celebrating some excellent ideas for inventions that will make the world a better place. Ideas include machines that will ensure everyone on the planet has enough to eat; every wild creature will have a habitat and no-one will ever have to drink dirty water again. Well done Grasshoppers! There is hope for the future. In the immediate future, this coming week is looking very busy!

Tomorrow, children in Year 1 are travelling to Okehampton for the afternoon to enjoy a PE multi-skills event. We should be back for 3:30pm. Let’s hope the sun will still be shining. Children in Year 2 will join Caterpillars’.class for their PE and PSHE before assembly in the hall at 3:00pm.

On Tuesday we have a visit from Fizz Pop Science which should be fun!

On Thursday we have our school service in church at 2:00pm. The Grasshoppers are celebrating Easter with some body percussion! We’re hoping the Easter Bunny might pay us a visit on Thursday too!

Thank-you to everyone who organised and came to the Chocolate Event on Friday. Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

With best wishes,

Catherine Thomas
