It’s been a very busy week! I will let the photos speak for themselves on the other blog post http://chagford-primaryschool.org/birch-class-blog-spring-2-week-4-topic-display-photos/

A massive thank you to all of the children (and parents!) who were able to bake something for today’s sale – we raised an enormous £70.32 for Tommy’s, the baby charity – and that has helped push us to 84% of our £350 target – amazing! Also a big thank you to all the children who wrote a persuasive letter – all week they have been persuading people to donate, Birch class are the best!

The final one comes from Leotie and Bryony:

Dear friends,
Our teacher Mr Billinghurst is taking part in the London Landmarks Half-Marathon, which is on Sunday 24th March. The run is 13.1 miles and there are over 13,000 participations from all around the United kingdom.

Mr Billinghurst is raising money for a charity called Tommy’s- the baby charity. Tommy’s helps to keep babies alive during pregnancy – one in four pregnancy’s have complications. This could be you, a family member or a friend. If this does happen to you Tommy’s will be there to help you. Please donate money to this charity you never know, this could help one of your family members. https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/leebillinghurst
