Once again we have packed in as much as we possibly could this week!

We started the week in Maths talking about different heights of people in our class and comparing the tallest and the shortest. After some discussion about how to find out if we were taller or shorter than our friends Fred got the whole class into height order!

We have been looking at the Owl Babies text and talking about what it feels like to be together and to have friends. We then turned the home corner into a nest so we could have somewhere nice and cosy to hide out…

In our PE session we were pretending to be woodland creatures and creeping around to find food like a squirrel’s would…

We have been making owl masks…

We have also been practising our throwing and catching skills – that was fun!!

We have continued with our phonics and practicing writing our letters and words. There are new sounds in your child’s book for you to practice over the weekend.

Next Friday is Children In Need and the children are able to wear pyjamas or something spotty for the day providing they bring in a donation.

Sorry to mention the ‘C’ word but we have decided on the date for our Christmas Nativity!! It will be on Thursday the 14th December at 10am with a dress rehearsal at some other point during that week if you are unable to make the actual performance.

Have a good weekend
