This has been another learning-filled and exciting week in the FSU!
We have been spending quite a lot of time as a whole group working on our listening skills; waiting our turn to talk and practising not all talking at the same time! As an extension of this we then talked about our class rules and the things we do and do not do in the classroom to ensure it is a peaceful and pleasant place to be!
In PE we played a game of Musical Hoops and practised our negotiating space skills; learning how not to bump into each other when moving at speed basically!
We went for a walk around the school grounds to explore all the areas that some haven’t been to before including the garden area, pizza oven and forest school.
We have continued with our sounds and have now learnt 5 sounds so far; s a t p I. Next week your child will be bringing home their Sounds Book in which they can practice writing and saying the letters.
We finished the week with a Step Dancing session; the children learned how to do some step dancing on a board and they thoroughly enjoyed dancing along to the violin and accordion.
Have a great weekend and see you bright and refreshed on Monday morning!
