This week as part of the nationwide anti-bullying focus, we have spent time talking about friendships within the classroom and the wider school and how we can make life better and happier for ourselves  and for others. The children had some brilliant ideas about ‘What makes a good friend?’ and how we can help and support each other. My favourite when asked what makes a good friend was “someone who makes you happy!” Not bad for a group of 4 and 5 year olds! We also explored friendships throughout the school and we worked  with Dragonflies class who came and taught us a song and dance they knew. Some of Big Robins were then selected to perform their dance in the Dragonflies Collective Worship and they were fab!!
