It’s CHRISTMAS!!!! ….well nearly! The advent calendars are open and everyone’s favourite crooner, Frank Sinatra, was playing festive hits in Bee class this morning at Malena’s request.

We’ve had a busy week of rehearsals and singing all in preparation for Bethlehem the Musical next week at the Jubilee Hall. It’s shaping up nicely at the moment but there is still plenty of work to do yet. We will be spending much of next week at the Jubilee Hall, so kids, get practising those lines! We will be having a dress rehearsal on Wednesday morning, so please have your costumes in school (plastic bag, name on) before then. You should all know what you are wearing by now (some kind of robe-like thing – dressing gown or shift – and the standard nativity tea-towel on the head – unless you are the King, Servant or Julia – Roman Togas for you guys).

We will try and fit in some Maths and Literacy throughout the week and we also have some paper lanterns to be made for the Chagford Late Night Shopping event on Tuesday. It’s going to be a busy one!

No official Literacy homework this week (practise lines for the play), but if you are at a loose end and feel like doing some extra research for your Information Text Invent writing next week – please do.

Have a great weekend, Mr B
