Another week goes by and it won’t be long until Christmas is upon us! Our thoughts have already turned to this year’s Christmas Show – Bethlehem the Musical – and we have all been given scripts and parts. Please do encourage your child to practice their lines over the weekend – I suspect a fair bit of time will be devoted to putting the show together over the next week and a half so it’d be great if by Monday they have a good idea of what they need to say and when.
Over happenings in Fox Class this week:
- We have been looking at area, surface area and volume this week in Maths as part of our Geometric reasoning unit
- In Literacy, we have been using our research (last weekend’s homework) to plan an information text based on recycling.
- On Monday afternoon in PE, we practised Yoga and Mindfulness – Tuesday’s PE session with Mrs Bayly was all about the Grease Lightening – very funny!
- We also took the time this week to have a look at what Oil is, where it comes from and how it has been formed in our Topic session this week.

Gather as many facts as you can about a renewable energy source – wind, wave, tidal, hydroelectric, solar power, geothermal – whichever interests you most, pick one and find out as much as you can.
