This week we have started exploring Space – well not literally, more talking about the planets and going to the moon!

On Monday we tasted some real astronaut food – Neapolitan ice cream – which was not unlike eating strawberry, chocolate and vanilla flavoured chalk!I

We then talked about what it might be like in outer space and did some research in non-fiction books. The children then did their own piece of writing about what they found out.

In PE we went on a journey to the moon with Me Tumble; pretending to be planets  and stars. We copied our partners shapes and movements and imagined how we would move in space.

We finished the week making space biscuits; some got a little burnt as they ‘re-entered the earth’s atmosphere but most were saved and tasted delicious!I

Have a great weekend
