We have completed our first full week in Robins Class and we have fitted a lot in!

We are now quite settled in our routines and know where we are going and when – generally! Having our own outside space has been amazing for the children and they are making the most of the dry weather; by being outside as often as possible.

This week the older children have been learning their first set of letters in phonics while the younger children have been playing Listening games and making sounds.

We have also been counting and matching numbers to quantity and practising sequencing numbers from 1 -10.

This week also was the children’s long awaited and greatly anticipated first official PE session! After changing into PE kits, we went into the huge school hall and ran around in circles for the first 20 minutes with great excitement! We also played the Bean game and practised our listening to instructions skills then to finish we practised our throwing and catching ski!is with different sizes balls.

On top of all that, we fitted in some painting and pattern making among many other things!

Don’t forget the  school’s Open Day tomorrow from 12-3 pm.

See next week
